Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do you offer art lessons?

I offer online painting tutorials for adults & in person art classes for kids through Wildwood Art Gallery & Studio.  Click here for more details on classes.  Join my email list to stay up to date and be the first to know about classes and wait list openings.

Q. How much is this painting, is it available, and where can I view it?

You can find all the details (title, size, price and which gallery it's at) for each painting by clicking on the painting you're interested in.  I do my best to keep my website up to date, but if there's a painting you're eying it's always best to contact the gallery to confirm availability.  For available larger works (over 12"x12") click here and for available smaller works (12"x12" and smaller) click here.

Q. Do you offer prints?

Yes! I offer high-quality giclée prints of most of my paintings.  Giclée prints are available on stretched canvas or on heavy weight watercolour paper in a variety of sizes.  Click here to view my print shop.  You can now also add a floating frame to your stretched canvas order! Find more details on print materials here.

Q. What is a giclée print

A giclée print is a museum-quality reproduction created with archival pigment inks on acid-free paper or canvas. Using high-resolution digital files and advanced inkjet printers, millions of microscopic droplets of ink are sprayed to capture exceptional detail and vibrant colour. With proper care, giclées can last for generations, making them one of the finest options for collecting art.

Q. How do I take care of a giclée print?

Giclée prints are made with the finest archival materials and, when cared for properly, can last for generations. That being said, they are delicate, so a little care goes a long way.

  • Handle with care: Always hold paper prints by the edges (cotton gloves are ideal) and stretched canvas prints by the wooden stretcher frame when possible to avoid touching the printed surface. Take care not to rub the edges of stretched canvas, as ink can be removed if it drags or leans against surfaces.

  • Where to display: Keep out of direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

  • Clean gently: Dust lightly with a soft, dry cloth or brush — never use water or cleaning solutions.

Q. What if my print arrives damaged?
If your print arrives damaged, please email me with photos of the issue. I’ll be happy to arrange a replacement for you.

Q. Do you offer commissions?

Yes, I do accept commission work.  I paint mainly landscapes, but feel free to fill out my commission request form online here and let me know your ideas and I can let you know what's possible.  I work primarily from photo, so the first step is usually to find a reference photo, (either yours or mine) which we can work from to narrow down a composition, size, colours etc...  Commissions may take anywhere from 2 to 6 months to complete (based on my current workload).

Q. How does payment for commissions work?

Once we have worked out the details of the commission, I will request a 50% deposit to hold a spot in my calendar to work on the commission.  When the painting is complete I will share images.  After the finished painting is approved by the client, I will request the remaining 50% balance.  Once fully paid I can arrange delivery of the painting.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept at your studio?

Cash, Debit, Credit or E-Transfer.
